- Sound Pole -

The Sound Pole is a unique technology called: New Unit Speaker System of Flatwave PMAS TM) and (independent rear cavity in the TM matrix), which provides the formation of a single harmoniously wave equalized through a linear design creating a professional-grade sound in a standard audio equipment. The equipment design is composed of a speaker system in a linear format with a resource of linear sound box.

This system works with the same characteristics of various speakers, but have been placed together and shaped with a special design resulting in a single unit of linear sound column. In this way, the sound is rarely spread vertically, on the contrary, a sound spread horizontally provides several advantages, such as minimizing the drop in sound pressure long distance, and create resistance against acoustic feedback. This device is currently recognized in several market segments, being used for different purposes.

To develop this new series of “SOUND COLUMN” the company reviewed the entire structure of the speaker units. General issues were identified and adjusted, such as small interferences in round cone unit SOUND POLE matrix. Plane waves units were adopted with only three (03) cm wide in the diaphragm, in order to solve problems affecting the orientation, the distance and dispersion of sound. Some audio professionals demonstrate certain resistance to plane wave speakers, on the grounds that the level of performance (maximum pressure) is not enough, besides the high cost. However, following this enhancement was possible to provide a stable and low cost performance.

This SOUND POLE serie adopted an independent rear cavity device in order to structure a linear sound source, having an encapsulated, independent box for each SP unit. The format of this design can prevent the usual problems in cylindrical speakers; as the pressure which returns irregularly, or even the appearance of constant sound waves causing sudden drops and peaks. Thus, it is possible to obtain an ideal frequency without the need for adjustments.

The direction of the sound can be controlled by positioning it next to large screens, while maintaining the direction of the sound only in the area under the screen, and not elsewhere.
